(A long, dry summer with low humidity and cool evening, and a mild, rainy winter) • Average annual temperature for the state range from 47°F to 73°F. • San Francisco: annual average of 57°F • Los Angeles: annual average of 63°F • San Diego: : annual average of 64°F • Sacramento’s: annual average of 61°F • Northwest California rains 15 inches to 50 inches per year
