High levels of Literacy and Maths are important to us and so are all the other aspects of learning. We want to make a difference to our children and help them understand they can make a difference too - to themselves, to each other and to their environment.

If you don’t know where you’re going it’s unlikely you’ll end up there! We involve pupils in the path of their own learning through:- letting pupils know howthey’re progressing and what they need todo to improve sharing learningexperiences encouraging children to take responsibility and feel they have a ‘voice’ giving pupils the opportunity to apply what they have learnt to ‘real life’ situations

What are we working on this year? • Continuing to raise standards in English and Maths • Pupil ownership, accountability and aspiration • Active participation of pupils • Involving parents/carers in their children’s learning
