Well, fingerprinting is used to solve crimes. If a fingerprint from a crime scene is taken, they try to match it to the same one on a database called CODIS. Did you know: No two fingerprints are alike? What are Fingerprints Used for?
Some tools are CODIS (Combined DNA Index System ), fluorescent powder, and super glue method. What Tools are Used?
Fingerprinting is useful, because it can link a suspect to a crime. Also, it is exact; no guessing game here. How Does It Help?
