We are not, as an industry, where we thought we would be. What can we do about it?
It is not enough to meet and tell each other that our technology is great and it is the future.
P2P technology will not be a stand-alone solution. We cannot stand alone and get where we want to be.
We need to invite others to engage in the discussion. Others that can help develop solutions for mass P2P commercial deployment.
We have a successful example of doing this- P4P. Where we engaged network operators and found common ground and benefit.
In a world of so many possible “complimentors”, how do we chose?
I will suggest a specific category that can change our industry…

The category is media players. Companies include Adobe, Microsoft, Apple, DivX, Real Networks
Why would they want to engage with the DCIA? What benefits can we offer them?
