Grades 90-100% - A All assignments have a different point value 80-89 – B 70-79 – C 60-69 – D 50-59 – F Practice work has a small point value – final work has a much larger value • No grades below 50 % - This keeps the scale at a 10 point difference for each grade. • Most assignments go through multiple sharing and feedback – hence no redone assignments That is covered through revision and collaboration. • Goal is understanding at different levels – not must get an A • Grades are a snapshot in time – Improvement over time is how students learn • All papers are in their binder or saved at school – Portfolio Evidence • For 6th grade parents do weekly/daily planner and backpack organization
