Men’s Team World Badminton Championship--Thomas Cup The Thomas Cup is a trophy awarded to the champion of the“Men’s Team World Badminton Championship”, which was donated by the first IBF President, Sir George Thomas.
Women’s Team World Badminton Championship--Uber Cup The Uber Cup is a trophy awarded to the champion of the “Women’s Team World Badminton Championship”, which was donated by Mrs. H. S. Uber, famous English female player in the thirties.
World Mixed Team Championship--Sudirman Cup The Sudirman Cup is a trophy awarded to the champion of the “World Mixed Team Championship”, which was named after Mr. Dick Sudirman ,who was knows as the Father of Badminton Association of Indonesia.
World Badminton Championships World Badminton Championships is the biggest individual game in the world. In 1977,the first World Badminton Championships was held in Mermo Sweden. Each individual game use knockout.
World Cup World Cup began in 1981 in Jolonpu Malaysia. First World Cup only had man’s single and women’s single. After that it had five events.
