Updates: Data Questions, part 1 • How do I get workers who are not in my county to shop showing up on my reports?I’m assuming this is referring to CSDW queries, correct? I’m getting questions from counties concerning the NC FAST Security Report that is available in CSDW. On this report, individuals sometimes show up in the incorrect county because the person worked in one county and now works in another county. The NCID must be updated to reflect this. Counties have to contact NC FAST Support to get instructions for this. If there are other CSDW queries with incorrect workers showing, I’ll need the report/query names. • What time does data warehouse update their files from NCFAST and if we are doing a data extract, what time will the file be available for us to grab?CSDW pulls the data from the NC FAST CDW (NC FAST data warehouse) after NC FAST updates run each night. Is this question asking when they can “grab” data from NC FAST or NC FAST data from CSDW? If it is the latter, the answer is by 7 a.m. the following morning. • The applications disposed number is very different from the applications completed number in the statistics that Melodee Stokes sends out. I'm not sure which numbers are accurate, how can I find out?We aren’t sure either. We are working in NC FAST staff to try to resolve this issue. • Is there anything in the works to produce a report of unduplicated clients who receive either one or more benefits? Not at this time. We are trying to first work out the issues we have with the NC FAST data in the CSDW.
Updates: Data Questions, part 2 • When can we get a report that tell us churn? Not until we get some of the data straightened out. NC FAST still has data issues that are being passed to the CSDW. • When will ePass are show up on pending app report? They should already be showing up. If not, I need examples so we can research why this is happening. • Data in NC FAST doesn’t match what’s coming out of DW (example, total caseloads may be off by more than 20%), which one should we use?We have the same issue. As stated above, we are working with NC FAST staff to try to get a handle on this; however, due to the pressing P2/6 go-live, I’m not sure how quickly we will get this resolved. • On the Average Days to Process an Application, what is the difference between new applications and all applications? The all apps includes the “fast converts”. • Why does my average days to process report (detail) show negative numbers?I need an example to research.
