Starting time 9.00 am Date: 12th& 13th April 2014 Venue: Wonthaggi Workmen’s Club Entries Close: 28thMarch 2014 All captains have now agreed that the dress code will be enforced and that if any player of a team that does not adhere to the dress code will be fined $50.00 and will not be eligible to play until they are correctly dressed. Teams that have previously played in pool tournaments are well aware that a dress code is necessary and abide by the rules of a tournament. The Wonthaggi Cup is an excellent opportunity for teams to show their sponsors support in a great tournament. Once again at this year’s Tournament we will be running THREE DIVISIONS, ( Depending on amount of Entries ) compared to previously run with Two Divisions. With the introduction of an Open Division there will be no player restriction’s in this Division, but there still will be player Restriction in 1st & 2nd Divisions as in previous years. FINALS, winner s in each Division will take home a Premiership Cup & Trophy’s . Tournament Guide Line’s Eight-Ball Pool Leagues are invited to compete in the Annual Wonthaggi Cup. 1. All teams can register a maximum of ten (10) players. 2. Each match will consist of seven (7) singles frames. 3. Tournament is run on a round robin format. 4. Tournament will consist of THREE Division, ( Open, 1st & 2nd Division Depending on amount of Entries ) 5 Their will be player RESTRICTION in 1st & 2nd Divisions, But no RESTRICTION in the Open Division. 6. Finals are decided using a final four format in all divisions with a WINNER from each Division. 7. Entries are restricted to 30 teams. 8. All teams playing are required to have Team SHIRTS with collars, wear BLACL SLACKS & BLACK DRESS SHOE’S ladies to wear BLACK SKIRT or SLACKS with BLACK SHOE’S ( No Runners, Gym Boots , Work Boots, Open toe shoes or Brown Shoes) 9. Playing rules for this tournament are the current Australian Eight-Ball Federation Rules. 10. Entry fees for the Wonthaggi Cup are $350.00 per team 11. All players will receive a $10 per frame pay back. 12. All Registration Form’s & Registration Fees to be posted to the below address or e-mail it to ensure your team or team’s are in the Wonthaggi Cup. 13. It is recommended that all teams have a Team Manager. 14. Their will be a $50.00 fine to any player who does not adhered to the DRESS CODE. 15.
