  2. CAP Workbook v6b Why a new version of the CAP workbook ? Version 6b: • ConPro changed its data model • Needed to “harmonize” Miradi  ConPro  CAP Workbook • Each “thing being measured” has its own indicator. • Monitoring “methods” are shared across indicators. • Most obvious change: “priority” and “progress” added to Viability table. • Version 6b data pack aligns with the new ConPro. (v6a doesn’t) Versions 6a and 6b: • Incorporate ‘strategy effectiveness measures’ • tracking indicator measurements over time. • connecting measurements to objectives. • Add user-requested features … new summary tables … flexible table formats

No plans to update.

CAP Workbook v6b Top Five Things to Know: • Watch the entire online tutorial (even though it’s v5a). http://elearn.tnc.org/cap/workbook/player.html • Most run-time errors start with a user un-protecting the workbook. • Before doing a big repetitive workbook task, contact Warren. • Squirrelly workbook? • Download a fresh one. If that doesn’t fix it… • Zip it, email it to Warren with instructions on how to replicate the problem. • When stuck or in doubt, double-click!
