  2. KCHR FOOD • The traditional occupation of peoples in KCHR is farming and cattle-breeding. Some villages cultivate particular sorts of tomatoes, cabbage, onion, garlic, carrot, etc. • The food of peoples in KCHR is very similar. Its base is meat, diary products and cereals. The well-known shashlik is often prepared.

  3. Vegetable dishes are typical for peoples in the region, vegetables are simply pickled or eaten raw. On the other hand, Caucasians like hot diary products. It is to be noted that the famous kefir is the invention of mountaineers.

  4. Staying close to the Circassians and Abase, Nogai prepared almost the same dishes. However, their uniqueness lies in the fact that the food is mainly used Nogai horse. Popular, for example, "kazi" - horse sausage, kuvurmash (fried horse sausage), Taramov (Men's food "), kunyrma (roast lamb), cal-Ms (chicken noodle), beshbarmak mare.
