What do we need? • Specify Research Directions • Building national research laboratories –infrastructure • Solar thermal applications including CSP • PV • Wind Technology • DESERTIC Institute (Laboratory) • Energy Research Roadmap • Enhancement Management System • Establish a “Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Commission”, “JREEC” to coordinate Renewable Energy activities similar to Jordan Atomic Energy Commission “JAEC”. The tasks of JREEC are • To fulfill the Renewable Energy Strategy • Enhance the coordination among researchers; industries; government bodies, NGO • Enhance the coordination with international research bodies
