Aims and objectives - 1 • to study the situation of blind and partially sighted persons vis-à-vis mobility and orientation and to identify the needs perceived in this area in Malta
Aims and objectives - 2 • to develop a short preparatory course regarding mobility and orientation for sighted persons interested in persuing their studies
Aims and objectives - 3 • to promote the use of IT and AT among the beneficiaries of the project: blind users, MOT and institutions
Aims and objectives - 4 • to pass the knowledge gained from the preparatory course to blind and partially sighted persons in order to get professional skills in MOT
Aims and objectives - 5 • to increase the independence and autonomy of blind and partially sighted persons in their home, at school, at work and in the community
Aims and objectives - 6 • to pave the way for introducing a nation-wide service including educational and technical structures in school and Higher Education Institutions
