  2. Problem @ Hand • Increase awareness of the Data Warehouse website • To do this, we must convince advisors in each college and the Registrar to promote this website to students

  3. It’s That Time of Year… • It’s time to sign up for classes! • Wouldn’t you like to know what kind of professor you have before you walk in to class on the first day of the semester?

  4. Pick-A-Prof • www.pickaprof.com • DISADVANTAGE: COST $$$ • ADVANTAGE: Allows for students to leave personal comments about the professor

  5. Data Warehouse • Were you aware that there is a Texas Tech Teacher Evaluation website? • http://www.irim.ttu.edu/DATAWHSE/newindexb.HTM • It’s FREE! • Has every professor @ TTU on it • Shows their grade distributions • Shows their course evaluations • Shows their instructor evaluations

  6. Raising Awareness-Survey Ask questions like: • Have you ever heard of Pick-A- Prof or Data Warehouse? • How did you hear about them? • Were they helpful?

  7. Raising Awareness-Letter to Advisors • This will suggest what they can do to make sure the students are aware of Data Warehouse • Ex: Making a poster and flyer

  8. Raising Awareness-Poster • Will be a visual for the advisors

  9. Raising Awareness-Newspaper Ad • A visual for the students to see in The Daily Toreador

  10. Raising Awareness-Flyer • An advertisement you can put anywhere on campus (ex: the SUB) for all students to see

  11. In Conclusion… • We hope this will increase the TTU students of Data Warehouse
