SPACE SHUTTLE A few days later, when our teacher Mrs. Orozco gave us a task: “Making a model composed of polygons” a space shuttle comes out in our mind. Because we believe that this space shuttle well help us in exploring the universe, the other planets and any heavenly bodies. WE COME UP TO THIS DESIGN TO LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT A SPACE SHUTTLE ALSO MADE OF SEVERAL POLYGONS. A SPACE SHUTTLE THAT IS USED BY SCIENTIST TO EXPLORE THE WORLD IS ALSO MADE UP OF POLYGONS. The Shuttle is the first orbital spacecraft designed for partial reusability. It is also so far the only winged manned spacecraft to achieve orbit and land. It carries large payloads to various orbits, provides crew rotation for the International Space Station (ISS), and performs servicing missions. The orbiter can also recover satellites and other payloads from orbit and return them to Earth, but this capacity has not been used often. However, it has been used to return large payloads from the ISS to earth, as the Russian Soyuz spacecraft has limited capacity for return payloads. Each Shuttle was designed for a projected lifespan of 100 launches or 10 years' operational life.

POLYGONS FOUND IN THE SPACE SHUTTLE • POLYGONS: TRIANGLE- composed of 3 sides QUADRILATERAL- composed of 4 sides HEXAGON- composed of 6 sides OCTAGON- composed of 8 sides PENTAGON- composed of 5 sides
MATERIALS: • USED BOX • CUTTER • SCISSORS • MARKER • TISSUE PAPER • RULER • ACRYLIC PAINT • PAINT BRUSH • GLUE • SCATCH TAPE • BARBECUE STICK
Procedures • FIRST, WE GATHERED ALL THE MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE PROJECT. • NEXT, WE CUT THE USED BOX IN TO SEVERAL KINDS OF POLYGONS BASED ON OUR DESIGN. • THEN, WE COMBINED IT AND FORM IT INTO A SPACE SHUTTLE. • AFTER COMBINING, WE COVERED IT WITH TISSUE AND LET IT DRY INTO SEVERAL MINUTES. • LASTLY, WE PAINTED IT WITH THE DESIRED COLOR.
