George Moffat • George Moffat was a sailboat racer at international level in the 1950's before he began flying sailplanes for records and competition in the 1960’s – the “Golden Age” of high-performance soaring. • He has been US National Soaring Champion in all three classes, and was World Open Class Champion in 1970 and 1974. • George's recent book “Winning II” is the new Bible for serious soaring pilots.
