  1. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW March 2013 We want to hear from you! We are having a successful year with fundraising thanks to all our wonderful Cotton Creek families. While we are still waiting to see if funds are needed to help with the computer lab, we are always looking for other ways we can improve our school. You will be receiving a survey from PTA in the next couple of weeks. Please take time and let us know your opinions about future improvements, events and additional ideas to improve the school and PTA. SAVE THE DATE March April • Tuesday April 9th • -PTA meeting; 6:30pm in the library. Agenda on PTA website • Thursday April 11th • -Kdg Barnyard Moosical • Monday April 15th • -Chorale singing at Rockies Game • Tuesday April 16th • -Dinner Night Out at C.B. & Potts on 120th Ave from 5:30pm – 8:30pm Friday March 1st -Father/Daughter Luau Dance School Gym 6:30-8:30 Saturday March 9th -Applebee's Pancake Breakfast 7am-10am Tuesday March 12th -PTA Meeting: 6:30 in the library Agenda on the PTA website Friday March 15th -Mother/Son Event School Gym; 6:30-8:30 Thursday March 21st -Chorale Pirate performance School Gym 7:00 March 25th-29th-Spring Break May • Tuesday May 1st • -Cotton Creek Fun Run at the school during the school day (Rain Date May 8th) • Tuesday May 14th • -PTA meeting; 6:30pm in the library. Agenda on PTA website • Friday May 24th • -Last Day of School Check for updates on the PTA website and watch for updates by e-mail through your Room Parent and PTA. This calendar includes PTA and school sponsored events. https://sites.google.com/site/cottoncreekpta/home PTA raises money through the Cougar Kids Campaign and multiple community events. Recommendations on allocation is discussed with teachers, staff and parents during monthly PTA meetings. Allocations are voted on during the PTA meetings.
