Appointed on January 1st 2009 Perform role of Administrative Manager for initial period of two year To promote and extend the business of AfTLD Facilitate and support the discussion and consensus building process Liaison with members and other groups in the wider internet community Represent AfTLD at selected Global Internet community functions Africa Top Level Domain Organization Vision and programs of AfTLD Administrative Manager

Develop 3 –year Strategic Plan • Ensure efficient ccTLD management in region for both technical & administrative activities • Ensure efficient AfTLD-Led DRP running within the region with capacity in Africa regions to deal with disputes • Empower and support registries in the region to run more sustainably so can contribute more meaningfully to AfTLD activities • Strategic Plan to run from 2010 to 2013 • Operate annual business plans/work plans based on 3 – year strategic plan Africa Top Level Domain Organization Medium term Plans

Communication & Outreach Program • Re-development of AfTLD Website to include: • Intranet for formal members • Content Management for easy Website Update • Improved Usability features • More interactive using social networking tools • Publish AfTLD monthly newsletter more rigorously • Hard Copy + Published Online • Rebrand AfTLD corporate material • Information sheets, folders etc • Increase Outreach programs to make AfTLD more visible Africa Top Level Domain Organization Programs
