Senior Paraplanner$70,000-$80,000 + bonus Profile Financial Services About Profile Profile Financial Services is a boutique firm of financial and investment strategists, originally established in 1986. Profile holds its own AFSL, is not owned by any institution and operates at the premium end of the market, providing high-quality, tailored, fee-based financial solutions to clients. The role Prepare high quality Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) for high net worth clients. Although you will use and update templates where appropriate, you will also apply your technical knowledge and superior written communication skills to present each advice in an accessible and structured way for individual clients. You will attend and contribute to monthly in-depth professional development days covering legislative and technical issues, markets and economic developments. At the more senior level, you will also contribute actively to strategy formation for specific clients, applying your in-depth knowledge of financial and legal structures, investments and insurance. You will also write case studies for internal training purposes. The location is flexible: Profile has offices at both North Parramatta and in the Sydney CBD. Is this you? You are RG146 compliant, have completed or almost completed your DFP / ADFP, with tertiary qualifications in economics, business or a related discipline. You have a least two years experience in writing advice, which may have been gained in a paraplanner or planner role. You are highly organised with strong attention to detail, and adept at managing competing priorities. You have very good written communication skills, and very high personal standards of integrity. Ideally you have worked across the spectrum of insurance, super, managed funds and wrap platforms – in addition, experience with direct equities would be highly regarded. Experience using Xplan and Xtools modelling would be ideal, although not essential. The rewards The remuneration package will be commensurate with your experience and qualifications -around $70,000-$80,000 pa is a guide (including salary and super). Profile also has a discretionary bonus scheme based on profit share and achievement of KPIs. Over time the potential exists to progress from your paraplanning career to planner within the firm, and to acquire an ownership share in the firm. No agencies please.
