  2. Description of sport: It is played with a team of seven. Matches are split into four to eight minute periods. At the start of the game, the teams race to the ball. Whichever gets it first will then have thirty seconds to score on the opposing team before giving them the ball. Players may swim up to three miles in a game. Rules of the sport: players cannot hold, sink or pull back on the opposing players if they do not have the ball. These are called exclusion fouls, if you make an exclusion foul you will be excluded from game play for twenty seconds giving the other team a great advantage these are also called a man-up-play. The ball under foul is called when a player takes or holds the ball under water. Only the goal keeper can hold the ball with more than one hand Water polo
