Writing based on textual evidence. • Grammar and spelling. Writing Process must be shown to be graded.

Your Constructed Response • Intro sentence (In your first sentence, name the play, the author, and the topic of your paragraph) • Define flashback. • Tell where it begins in the story and include a quote. • Tell where the flashback ends and include a quote. • List what you learn in the flashback in general terms. • Give details from the text to support #5 statement. • Give your personal opinion about how effective this element of plot is to the story and tell why by describing the overall effect the use of flashback has on the story. • Truism Isabel Allende uses flashback in her short story entitled Two Words.
