NATIONAL M&E COURSE The course aim is to strengthen the capacity of Health Care Workers in Kenya to collect and use surveillance data and manage diagnosis, treatment and disease monitoring. The course is offered through e –learning platform where health care workers access it free of charge either online or offline as it’s fully sponsored by CDC. Course duration : 1 month
LEARNING OUTCOMES . • Understand and implement monitoring and evaluation activities within all service delivery points within health care facility. • Improve data completeness , accuracy and reporting rate . • Utilize data to make decisions.

COURSE ACCESS GUIDE • Online • Offline
To access the course offline • The course contents are installed in computer within the facility - LMS • On the desktop folder written Moodle – Double click to open • It will open a window look for Start moodle and minimize the window • The click start Xampp and click to start Apache and mysql – minimize • Open web browser – Mozilla, internet explorer or chrome • On the address bar type localhost – enter • You will get a page requesting you to log in. • To access the course online • On a web browser e.g. mozilla Firefox at the address bar type the link http://mlearning.24ike.com/moodle and enter to get log in page. • To access the course either online or offline one will be provided with username and password.
Please note that the address does not contain the www preceding the address Accessing the LMS Localhost After completing the previous steps, the web browser should now load. Type in the learning management system web address as indicated below. The address is: localhost
Click Onto the any of the log in buttons displayed on the screen Logging onto the LMS
Fill in your username and password as shown here then click the LOGIN Button Logging onto the LMS
Introduction to the LMS Points to Note • If you misspell either your username and password you will not be able to log on to the LMS • The password is case sensitive • The system shows different colors on course access • You can start with any module • You can continue with a module even after you do halfway
