Reproductions • If the original was assigned Cataloging Form nonISBD, the bib record for the reproduction is also Cataloging Form nonISBD • Use the same encoding level for the reproduction record that was used for the bibliographic record for the original • Only AACR2 description can be submitted as pcc • For microform, full 007 is required only for re-formatting units; non-reformatting units should create the 007 for microform and code for the SMD (microform or microfiche)
Exercise 5: Variable Field • 533 is a required note for the (microfilm) edition in hand. When doing variant edition cataloging, retain any fields that are still relevant to the new edition, even if they would not be required under the BSR
