Students can… • Have audio penpals either domestically or globally. The students can record their letters and then forward it to the partner classroom. • Students have opportunities to learn about other cultures of the country or world. • International penpals can practice English and exchange relevant messages.
Students can… • Create stories in groups or individually and record them. The sound files can be posted on the class website along with illustrations.
Students can… • Record interviews with people (grandparents, school administrators, community members) and present the results to the class
Students can… • Record poems, chants, spelling lists, math facts, and much more and email it home or post it on the class website
The Class Can… • Record songs or performances • Compose a mystery poem/story with each student adding a line to the poem/story
The teacher can… • Record him/herself and analyze the recording • Omit needless words • Determine if favoring one performance level, gender, ethnicity, race, portion of the room, etc.
