  3. January brings the snow, Makes our feet and fingers glow. February brings the rain, Thaws the frozen pond again.

  4. March brings wind so cold and chill, Drives the cattle from the hill. April brings us sun and showers, And the pretty wildwood flowers.

  5. May brings grass and leafy trees, Waving in the gentle breeze. June brings roses, fresh and fair, And the cherries ripe and rare.

  6. July brings the greatest heat, Cloudless skies and dusty street. August brings the golden grain, Harvest time is here again.

  7. Mild September brings us more Fruit and grain for winter store. Brown October brings the last Of ripening gifts from Summer past.

  8. Dull November brings the blast: Down from trees the leaves fall fast. Cold December ends the rhyme With blazing fires and Christmas time.

  9. What a busy day

  10. Morning has broken, I open my eyes. Time to brush my teeth, Wash my hair and check my smile. I put on my clothes and I race down the stairs. What a busy day, a very busy day, a very, very busy fun day!

  11. I eat up my breakfast Then hurry outside. I can’t wait to play – What a lovely sunny day! I call to my friends and we ride down the road. What a busy day, a very busy day, a very, very busy fun day!

  12. We get to the park And we slide down the slide. We swing on the swings And we see-saw up and down. We all eat a lolly And head off for home. What a busy day, a very busy day, a very, very busy fun day!

  36. My Grandfather’s clock Was too large for the shelf, So it stood ninety years on the floor. It was taller by half Than the old man himself, Though it weighed not a pennyweight more.

  37. It was bought on the morn Of the day that he was born, And was always his pleasure and pride. But it stopped! Short! Never to go again When the old man died.
