  4. What do you value about the Ambassador experience? • The opportunity to meet new members/new businesses • The opportunity to help promote business • Great exposure to the diversity of business • The relationship of the group • Networking • Reliability of the members

  5. What do you value about the Ambassador experience? Cont. • Business Recognition • Comrades/Friendship • Ability to promote our city • Learning what is going on in the community • Getting to know businesses better then just before and after hours

  6. What do you gain for yourself or your business through being an Ambassador? Based on the current Ambassador description, what is the most important element? • Relationships • Connectedness • Exposure • Perspective: what’s going on/what are the new businesses • Local presence for corp. business • Growing the membership & retaining it • Another resource to members than just chamber staff

Isthere something about being an Ambassador that frustrates you or that you think we could do with out? • Sales of membership • The jackets • It is not the elite group it used to be • Summer meetings • More direct purpose • Too much stuff • Need more of a game plan • Feeling like the seller of Chamber membership • Summer meetings • Fine line between commitment/volunteer • Same group participation • Summer meetings (maybe every other month)

  15. 5 Star Ambassador Are: • 5 Star Ambassadors are the Core Members of the Team. • These people will help in facilitating the areas that make up the whole. • Other members will be recruited to help with the areas listed Core

  17. Your Involvement is up to you! You can be a five-star ambassador and have total involvement or choose one or more points of the star: • Come to Photos • Take on Buddies • Facilitate Events • Be a Part of Retention • Recruit New Members
