Summary Main Points • Four policies being proposed. • Anti Bullying/ Pro-Friendship Week in which students will participate. • Volunteer Hall Monitor System to help catch bullying/bullies in the act. • Changing Report System to make it easier and more confidential to report a bullying case/bully. • Peer Jury to allow kids to see the severity of bullying.

Interviews • Dr. Olsen, Principal-Elm Place Middle School • Mr.Swanson, Principal-Highland Park High School • Mr. Neiberg, Student Services Representative-Waukegan High School • Ms. Ferrari, Principal-Northwood Middle School • We found that, when asked, the majority of the people we interviewed said that it was essential to fix the reporting system and make it better. • “I think now if students aren’t able to feel comfortable to report a problem, that’s definitely a problem.” ~Dr.Olsen, Principal-Elm Place Middle School
