  2. Introduction • World War Two started in 1939 till 1945, twenty five years after World War Two started. In both wars we beat the Germans.

  3. Rationing • Not much food was rationed. Some foods were rationed like milk, sugar, butter, cheese and meat. At the end there was flour and bread. In World War Two there was less food.

  4. Womens jobs • The women took over the men’s jobs. Some women went to war to be nurses. The women had to be farmers and factory workers.

  5. Evacuees • In World War Two evacuees had to be evacuated from London to the countryside. They went to stay with a billet family to stay safe. They got there by an old steam train . The people who wanted to keep them, they would chose them.
