300-500 million cases of malaria cause up to 3 MILLION DEATHS EVERY YEAR, most of them children under the age of 5.

ROLLBACK MALARIA’s strategy includes distribution of insecticide-treated mosquito nets (ITNs) to prevent mosquitoes from infecting people with malaria.

ROLLBACK MALARIA gains strength through its effective partnerships with the International Federation of the Red Cross and the United Nations.
ROLLBACK MALARIA joins a global response to malaria.
Y’s Men International and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have already begun their coordinated efforts.
In 2008, YMI and the IFRC distributed 25,000 nets in Sierra Leone.
In 2010-2015, the IFRC will continue as our partner to distribute nets funded by YMI in Sierra Leone, Kenya, Liberia and India.
