Status of the H6 2002 TB simulation in Athena - Generated a few small samples of H6-2002TB events and pushed them through the ATLAS reconstruction chain to get a first quick look at the events (PhysicsAnalysis/AnalysisCommon/UserAnalysis – following Ketevi’s instructions from the Feb.2005 tutorial). Electrons: 50, 100, 200 GeV Information from ESD CBNT Sum of EMEC + HEC E = 65 GeV σ = 17 GeV E = 127 GeV σ = 15 GeV E = 213 GeV σ = 21 GeV
Pions: 50, 100, 200 GeV Information from ESD CBNT Sum of EMEC + HEC E = 26 GeV σ = 27 GeV E = 63 GeV σ = 26 GeV E = 115 GeV σ = 54 GeV
Conclusions - Energies appear to be systematically off in the reconstructed ESD ntuple. (e too high, π too low) - Next: Look at contents of ESD file with my own analysis routine.
