Loading a Mask as a Selection • Open the image of the Egret • In the channels palette click the RGB eye to display the entire image • Click on the Egret eye to hide the Egret channel • From the menu choose >Select>Load Selection Click Okay • Click on the layers tab and select the background layer • The Egret should be selected

  3. Making Adjustments • In the menu bar choose Image>Adjustments>Auto Levels • Choose Edit> Undo to compare the changes you made • Choose Edit > Redo to reapply the changes you made • Choose Select > Deselect • Choose File > Save
