How it Works • Two panels of glass or plastic • Conductive material - used to coat the panes of glass • Suspended particle devices - millions of these black particles are placed between the two panes of glass • Liquid suspension or film - allows the particles to float freely between the glass • Control device - automatic or manual

  3. Uses and Advantages • Automotive/Marine • Business • Personal • Sky Lights • Reduces Energy cost • Regular windows can be retrofitted with SPD technology

  4. Other Info • Cost for regular glass is $16- $32 per square foot • Cost for SPD glass is between $80- $160 per square foot • Power used to run 15 SPD glass windows is less than the power used for a night light • Reduces UV rays up to 99%
