John 15:1-3(ESV) 1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser.
John 15:1-3(ESV) 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:1-3(ESV) 3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you.
John 15:2(ESV) 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:6(ESV) 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 24 He put another parable before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field,
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away.
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also.
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, 'Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?'
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 28 He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' So the servants said to him, 'Then do you want us to go and gather them?'
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 29 But he said, 'No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them.
Matthew 13:24-30(ESV) 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.'"
Hebrews 12:5-8(ESV) 5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.
Hebrews 12:5-8(ESV) 6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives."
Hebrews 12:5-8(ESV) 7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
Hebrews 12:5-8(ESV) 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Hebrews 12:11(ESV) 11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Romans 8:1(ESV) 1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 45:7(ESV) 7 I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the LORD, who does all these things.
2 Corinthians 4:8-12(ESV) 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair;
2 Corinthians 4:8-12(ESV) 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
2 Corinthians 4:8-12(ESV) 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.
2 Corinthians 4:8-12(ESV) 11 For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
2 Corinthians 4:8-12(ESV) 12 So death is at work in us, but life in you.
2 Corinthians 12:9(ESV) 9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Job 42:5(ESV) 5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you;
Lamentations 3:32(ESV) 32 but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love;
