About UCLA’s Staff Assembly • Established in 1978 • An organization “For Staff, by Staff” • Mission Statement: UCLA Staff Assembly is an organization “for staff, by staff”. Through educational, social, and community programs, we foster staff engagement in support of UCLA’s mission. The benefits include leadership opportunities, networking, personal and professional development, recognition, and campus involvement to name a few. All staff are encouraged to be a part of our community.

What do we do? • Staff Assembly Events • Breakfast with the Chancellor • Quarterly event • Started in 2009 • Over 260 staff have attended • Over 100 applicants per quarter • Lunch with Dr. Washington • Quarterly event • Started Winter Quarter 2012 • Over 90 staff have attended • Over 80 applicants per quarter
