Rapid Improvement Event Materials Inventory ManagementOctober 24th – 28th • The Northeast plant will be conducting a Rapid Improvement Event all week long beginning Monday, October 24, 2011. • What is a Rapid Improvement Event (RIE)? • The goal of an RIE is to streamline a process in a very short period of time. • An RIE requires the involvement and cooperation of employees at all levels. • You may be asked to change the way you perform your work. • During the event you may be asked to help develop new procedures. • Some of you may be asked to become ad-hoc team members. Our organization has committed significant resources to this project. Therefore, we want to be sure we do everything we need to in order make it a success. Thanks for your cooperation!
