2. This is the animal of a new era. The Marmony. It is a mixture of a marmot and a pony, making the animal of the future, the Marmony. (Genus is Marmota; species is Equus Caballus.) + The Marmony-Binomial Nomenclature

3. The Marmony is a combination of a Marmot and a Pony. It has the head of a Marmot and the body of a Pony. So that makes it a combination of two mammals. This animal has an endoskeleton body, since its bones are inside. The Marmony has seven appendages, which are its four legs, two ears, and one tail. The Marmony can swim, walk, and run very fast. It can run three times faster than a cheetah! Appearance and Structure

4. The Marmony is a omnivore, which means it eats both meat and plants. The Marmony gets its food by hunting for animals. It may look all cute and hairy and delicate, but it can hunt better than a jungle lion. A few things that it eats are like bunnies and squirrels. But, usually, it eats plants, using the flat teeth of ponies to crush them up. Food and Diet

7. The Marmonylives in a herd with its family and other families. Marmonies stay together for a very long time. They travel in a herd to protect themselves from there predators. They live in almost every continent besides Antarctica, since it is very cold there. The most common place for of to live is in the jungles of Africa. They only do live in jungles. You will probably never see them just out there without a herd or outside of a jungle. They are almost always traveling. At night, they stop and rest by huddling up together. They take turns watching out for predators. A few predators are Lions, Tigers, Hyenas, just the usual bad animals. Habitat

8. The Marmony has a Mutuality relationship with a bird. What the bird does is that it removes the ticks from the Marmony’s back. So it gives food to the birds, and at the same time the birds get ticks off its back. It is the same type of relationship with a bird and a pony. Special Relationship with another Organism

9. When the Marmony is born, it is immediately part of the herd. Not only do the parents help their child grow, but the whole herd helps in raising the young. At first, it needs support t to even stand. But as it grows up, it will learn how to walk, run, swim, and hunt. They always stay in a herd together. A single life span of a Marmony is 30 years. 10. One thing sense the Marmony is good at his hearing. (good for listening for enemies). It gets this trait from Ponies. The Marmony’s hearing is so good, it can here someone from half a mile away! (Ponies can do that.) Another good sense that it has is its eyesight(For spotting danger). Although it has good eyesight and good hearing abilities, it has a poor sense of smell. That is one thing it lost one a pony and a marmot mixed. Sensing

11. The Marmony talks to animals by neighing. All animals besides humans understand what they are trying to say. When a predator comes, one way it protects itself is by calling the herd, so that it can fight off the predator. Another way is by biting them with their strong teeth, thanks to the Marmot. 12. The Marmony will diffidently be hunted by humans, because they have the best tasting meat ever. So humans will hunt them, and they will drop in numbers rapidly. Hopefully, Marmonies will overcome it all. Human Effectiveness of Survival
