  2. They live in eastern and southern parts of Africa. They eat antelopes, zebras, wild beasts and other large animals.

  3. The heaviest lion record weighed an amazing 375 kg[826lb].

  4. Lions are the second largest big cat in the world (behind tigers)!

  5. A male weighs 180 kg (400lb). A female weighs 130 kg (290 lb).

  6. The spots on it were cool too.

  7. A lion is almost as tall as a tiger.
