  3. Introduction This document presents the design ideas for the Samoa 2007 South Pacific Games Medal program. The program is split into four products, The Winner Medals The Commemorative Medals The V.I.P. Medals.   5. Official Medals GOLD The Official Medals will be 50mm x 5mmT Each medal features the Samoa 2007 Logo on the front in a raised 3D sculpted process. The reverse of each medal showcases the Samoan Coat of Arms, in a process that is polished and etched. SILVER BRONZE

  6. Ribbon Official Ribbon for the Winners Medals Using the Samoan Flag as inspiration, the ribbon for the Official medals incorporate three colours that are reflective of Samoa Red PMS179 Navy PMS280 White

Official Commemorative Medals SILVER Option 1 The Commemorative Medals will be 40mm x 5mmT The front of the commemorative medal shows the logo in a repeat pattern with the centrepiece being the slogan of the Games, “Live the Dream!” The designer selected key words that represent the spirit of the games, such as unity, passion and friendship, linked together by the three ovals and meeting in the centre for the Samoan 2007 South Pacific Games BRONZEOption 2

  10. V.I.P. Medals ANTIQUE GOLD The VIP Medals will be 60mm x 5mmT and presented in a box , finished with an Antique Gold effect. The VIP medals are a larger replica version of the winners medals, and will be presented by representatives of the Samoan Government during the Games. The front features the Samoa 2007 Logo in full with a 3D raised effect surrounding the logo. The reverse of each VIP medal showcases the Samoan Coat of Arms, in a process that is polished and etched.   12. SASNOC Medals POLISHED GOLD The SASNOC Medals will be 60mm x 5mmT and presented in a box , finished with an Polished Gold effect. The front features the Samoa 2007 logo, raised and 3D, polished and etched. The water element represents the pacific ocean, gently rolling onto the shore. The reverse features the Samoa Association of Sport and National Olympic Committee logo (SASNOC) with the Olympic rings. The use of this logo is to showcase that the South Pacific Games is the premier sports event for the Oceania region, under patronage of the IOC. By featuring the SASNOC logo this also shows the importance of the Olympic Movement and the contributions to the Games made by the team at SASNOC. Boxed
