Those are “regular” people on social media…what about physicians?

Practice Match Membership – LinkedIn Profiles • What do you think the results are?
How do I fit this into my schedule? • Dedicate 15 minutes a day • Make it a part of your recruitment “routine” (a checkbox in your process paperwork)
How can it be as simple as possible? • Start with one social media site and get it up and running • Possibly LinkedIn since you have complete control over your own profile • Don’t do them all at once badly, do one well • Work within your corporate marketing parameters
What is the best way to begin a foray into social media/recruitment? Jump in with both feet! Ok… let’s be a bit more realistic • Start with one social media site (don’t make it “world peace and hunger” problem solving) • If this isn’t your “thing” or your corporate marketing folks aren’t “agreeable” to assisting, look to outside assistance.
My organization won’t let me do social media at work, now what? Ask you employer how long can they affordto wait before YOUare allowed to go where your customersare? http://www.fastcompany.com/3007683/creative-conversations/tweet-social-media-use-improves-employee-productivity http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2013-04-01/when-social-media-at-work-dont-create-productivity-killing-distractions#r=hp-ls http://www.adeccousa.com/articles/Adecco-Graduation-Survey-2012.html?id=200&url=/pressroom/pressreleases/pages/forms/allitems.aspx&templateurl=/AboutUs/pressroom/Pages/Press-release.aspx
I’d be remiss if I didn’t talk about… • What’s your overall physician recruitment marketing plan? • It can’t just be social media or just print ads or just web banners or just your natural charm • How are you tying it all together in your physician recruitment marketing plan? • Offline / Online events • Recruitment (or relationship building) events – how can it be shared? • Your organization’s web site, specifically with a physician (or provider) recruitment section • How do you work/interact with your corporate marketing folks? • Not all marketing folks “get” that recruitment is a form of marketing or realize that’s how revenue is generated
