2. Hippocrates • 1. Hippocrates was the first one of his people that believed that sickness and disease was not by their Gods but came naturally • 2. Hippocrates was a physician and helped many people with sickness and disease. He used many tools and saved many lives.

3. Hippocrates • Hippocrates was born on the island of kos (or Cos) He lived in the years 460 BC – 377 BC. He lived in ancient Greece. He practiced and studied medical practice for many years and worked with other scientists.

4. Hippocrates • Hippocratesfirst biography was made by the manSoranus of Ephesus. • Soranus of Ephesus played an important role in Hippocrates life (He was the very first person to create his biography)later in time.

5. Devices of Hippocrates • Hippocrates was the father of western medicine. • He gave many important medicines the romans were cured from many diseases. • One of the devices created by him was Hippocratic bench which relived tension of the bones.

6. Other people with Hippocrates • Thessalus ,Galen , were his sons Polybus was his other assistant physician who later also became famous himself (and also helped create the Hippocratic Bench)

7. Summary of HIPPOCRATES • Hippocrates was a great Roman-Greek physician and was a great doctor he was known as the father of western medicine . He had two sons who also became great people his assistant Polybus and himself invented a brilliant device for healing or a workers soldier's bones the hippocratic bench.
