This module aims to help young leaders understand different types of behaviors, their causes, and effective methods to manage them. It also provides guidance on how young leaders can assist in managing behavior within their section and when to involve adults. Through activities and reflection, participants will gain insight into their role as leaders and develop strategies for fostering positive behavior.

Objectives: • Understand different types of behaviour. • Understand and talk about the causes and triggers which can lead to different types of behaviour. • Demonstrate a number of tools or methods that could be used to manage behaviour. LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE

Reflection: Think about the behaviour you have experienced as a young leader from the younger sections. • Create a spider diagram of the behavior/ what happened/ consequence. LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE
Different Behaviour • Play a Game as a group. • Now discuss the following points: • Do you think the right methods were used to deal with the behaviour? Why? • What would you have done differently? • How do you think your section would’ve dealt with it? • How would you respond to the behaviour? LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE
Different types of behaviour: Here are 4 different types of behaviours list the best way to deal with each behaviour: • Vandalism • Opting out/withdrawing • Stealing • Chatterbox LIFE CHANGING ADVENTURE
