Using your knowledge of the text You now need to use your own knowledge of the text to extend your ideas further. • Do a spidergram of all the important points that you can remember from the novel that link to this extract. • Start by giving a paragraph in which you say what the mood and atmosphere is in this extract and make links to earlier in the novel
