  2. Help with RefWorks After you set up an account, take a look at helpful hints.

  3. Create Folders Before you begin searching, you might want to set up a folder for your project.

  4. Google Everyone uses Google, right? You can use Google Scholar with Ref Works. To begin, click on more to access Google Scholar and then Scholar Preferences to set up your account to work with RefWorks.

  5. Google Select RefWorks as your Bibliography Manager, then Save Preferences.

  7. Google Articles you wish to save must be exported individually by clicking on Import into RefWorks.

  8. Google Specify which folder you would like to save the reference to and click Save Reference.

  9. CSA ERIC You can import records from many of the UWF databases. Let’s look at ERIC journals in the CSA database.

  10. Export Records I have selected my articles and now we can click on RefWorks.

  11. Export We will click on Export to RefWorks.

  12. Export You may be prompted to log in. If you want to move your articles to the proper folder, click on View Last Imported Folder.

  13. Move to Folder Click on the records you want to move, then select the correct folder. A great way to organize your references.

  14. No Direct Export Let’s do the search in ProQuest which is not currently directly exporting to RefWorks.

  15. No Direct Export Click on the articles that you wish to save and then click Export.

  16. No Direct Export Even though it says Export directly to RefWorks, we are going to download a format compatible with RefWorks.

  17. No Direct Export Save the file to your computer as a .txt file. For example, certification.txt

  19. No Direct Export Select your folder for the references, browse for your .txt file, and then click Import

  20. Bibliography Now that we have resources, let’s create a bibliography.

  21. Bibliography Select your Style and file format, then create bibliography.
