  3. STEP V- DRIVE • Very low A, say neg. 4+ is like a jet engine overlaying the drive. Zone 1 or 0 is more like a fast(er) car, but controllable…

  4. STEP V- DRIVE • But, any form of high A is like a golf cart pushing the drive… it may happen, but not very fast… Or, it might not at all…

  5. STEP V- DRIVE • So, how dangerous do you think this profile might be… and why?

  6. STEP V- DRIVE • Driven, win at all costs, quicker than almost any opponent, and thoroughly independent… Oh, only barely tolerant of people…

  7. STEP V- DRIVE • If that was not bad enough, for they are found in our industry all the time, usually as manager/owners… try no E at all… Now what?

  8. STEP V- DRIVE • We are looking at the typical ‘My way or the highway’ Manager/owner. They take no direction from anyone, and they can be one of our toughest clients…

  9. STEP V- DRIVE • Keep in mind, you will be talking mostly to people you develop, or new companies that sign up with us. They have no idea you are new…

  10. STEP V- DRIVE • And even a little information is miles ahead of what they know, even if they have an advanced degree in Psych. The key? Be prepared!

  11. STEP V- DRIVE • The best thing to do in reading any Manager his or her own profile, is to put the best possible, positive spin on the read, even using a sense of humor. Let’s explore.

  12. STEP V- DRIVE • Your responses indicate that, for the most part, you are self made, you take little direction from people, and in fact, you don’t even need them around…

  13. STEP V- DRIVE • He or she will agree immediately. They really can’t deny it. But they still do not trust you… or us. Put a positive spin on it, as you carry on…

  14. STEP V- DRIVE • The fun thing about this profile is that you can do pretty much whatever you put your mind to, with or without help. It has made you what you are, today, no regrets, right?

  15. STEP V- DRIVE • Just for curiosity, how long have you been in the business. (Usually a few years…). I bet you took no time at all getting to the top of your group, your division, and even taking over… right?

  16. STEP V- DRIVE • Here is the catch: This profile is so ego laden, that even if this is almost true, they have to agree, and now you got them. No other profile tool would dare treat them like this… They can be tough, but some become clients for life.

  17. STEP V- DRIVE • And, at almost $20,000 a head for mistakes made, and a profile that says, loudly, “My way or the highway,” they are going to spend a lot of money on turnover… and we can help them curb that…

  18. back STEP V- DRIVE • Okay, you can get a better handle on drive by simply reading more and more profiles, with different combinations of traits… • But keep a lookout for how Power is backed up, or the parameters that affect it, because some of these people are tough… • Now, it is time to go explore the high E ambitiousplayers…
