History of Art • No one really invented art • It existed naturally among all people • From ancient times • Cave drawings • Sculptures • Rock painting
Why is Art important in learning ? • Very important in your child's growth. • Think outside box, creativity, imagination. • Builds strong character, better self esteem, communication skills • Better for our future.
How are we surrounded by art? • Art in our everyday life. • Music, theater, pictures, paintings, etc. • Not just to look at, used as a purpose too. • The world will not be the same without art.
How can it affect Children • No limits in art. • No wrong or right. • Expressing ones self in a positive and non-violent way. • Creating a better future for your child.
Lack of Creativity in children of today • Lack of creativity in children today. • Why? School no longer views that art education is helpful. • Society views creativity and expressing ones self as useless. • Art education will give us a better future.
Schools And its involvement with art • Students who interact with art are more likely to have a better future than those who do not. • Schools lack in education of art. • Need to expand art in schools.

Technology and Mind problems Taking over Art and creativity • Technology taking over • Internet • Machines • computers • No reason to use creativity! • What will our world turn into if this continued?
Purpose of Art • Art can raise: • Brain activity • Knowledge • Self-confidence • Self-esteem • Understanding others thoughts and feelings • Decision making and problem solving , and critical thinking
The power of art in society • What art does to us? • How can it affect us? • Art= better future.
Conclusion • Keep children artistic and creative = Better society, better world
