The Twin Towers of New York Attackwritten and illustrated by Charles White • On September11,2001 two planes crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center (WTC) killing thousands of people. Some people survived but it still was a horrible tragedy for the people of New York and our country. This was also, a scary time for America. The mayor and governor of New York said they were going to make a new WTC but it never happened. Until, 2013 they made a new tower in New York. But, it still won’t replace the great Twin Towers.
