  1. TOPIC: PASSINGCOACH: NANA TECHNICAL WARM UP OBJECTIVES/COACHING POINTS Organization: Players are in Pairs facing each other,8 to 10 yards apart. Markers are set up about 6 feet apart from passing lanes. Instructions: players pass the ball forwards and backwards to their partners using only the push pass. Players try to keep the ball in their lanes. They must control the ball before passing it back. Coaching Points: Review and check players basic technique(push pass). Encourage accuracy, the pass should be targeted towards the feet of the receiver The ball should be hit flat on the ground and should not have a dip as its easier to control.

  2. TOPIC: PASSINGCOACH: NANA SMALL SIDED(Give &Move back) OBJECTIVES/COACHING POINTS Organization: Players are in two teams of three, facing each other 2 yards apart. Instructions: Player with the ball passes to receiver them and runs to the back of his line. Receiver passes the ball back to next recipient and runs to the back of his line. Coaching Points: Players should develop one touch passing as quickly as their ability permits Don’t let them become discouraged if their first attempt fail Players should focus on getting ball to destination before making the run instead of worrying about making an accurate pass to the receiver.

  3. TOPIC: PASSINGCOACH: NANA EXTENDED SMALL SIDED OBJECTIVES/COACHING POINTS Organization: Players are in two teams of equal numbers and there are two target players, one at each end zone. The playing area is 40x60 yards in dimension and can be decreased based on the number of players. The target players are neutral. They play for who ever has possession of the ball and they never defend. Instructions: A target player in the end zone may move anywhere along the line to receive the ball. He turns the ball back to which ever team passed it to him. The objective is for the teams to possess the ball up and down the field using the target players as the attack the opposition. Coaching points: Focus on accurate passing and players moving off the ball into open space to be able to receive the ball and making passes.

  4. TOPIC: PASSINGCOACH: NANA GAME OBJECTIVES/COACHING POINTS Let players play and allow them to make their own decisions.
