Project Status • Project Status – Currently on target for Schedule, Scope, and budget • Project Phases • Initiation – Completed 08/01/2005 • Planning – Complete 05/08/2006 • Execution • Go-Live – 12/10/2006 weekend (Friday 12/8 7am – Sunday 12/10 Midnight) • Stabilization effort – 02/09/2007 • Closing – Target to complete February 2007 • Recent Activities • All Code has been delivered to iTEST • Began baseline performance testing – (360K Transactions in 24hour period) • Began Siebel and EIF Data Conversion Staging in Production on 11/3/2006 Weekend (will continue each weekend until complete) • Began Technical Walk-thru for Migration Weekend • Delivered Market Notice for Release Outage – 11/15/2006 • Next Steps • Continue EIF/Siebel Data Conversion every weekend until complete • Continue UAT/Load/Performance Testing PR50121_07 RBP PPL Source: ERCOT Priority: 1.0 Rank: .08 Budget: $3-5M Program Area: RO

Testing Status • Testing Schedule • Transaction Processing: Starts 08/28 – 98% complete (approx. 600 scripts) • Retail TML: Starts 10/02 - 100% (approx. 50 scripts) • Reprocessing: Starts 10/02 - 34% (approx. 70 scripts) • ETS Reporting: Starts 10/02 - 71% (approx. 60 scripts) • Load/Performance Testing: (Rescheduled) Starts 11/14 - 50% • 1st Within TIBCO run of 10K transactions ran a little over 40 minutes which puts on a pace of what would amount to ~360K a day (24hour period) or 250 Transactions per minute • Continue runs are being performed after hours for Peak load and Failure Points • Monitoring Testing: (Rescheduled) Starts 11/13 – 50% • Defect Status (152 total to date as of 11/09/2006) • Code – 72 • Configuration – 23 • Environment – 34 • Invalid – 19 • Unknown (Under Review) – 4 PR50121_07 RBP PPL Source: ERCOT Priority: 1.0 Rank: .08 Budget: $3-5M Program Area: RO
