AssessmentUnexpected findings Colour Pallor or cyanosis Temperature Cool / cold / hot Capillary refill time Greater than 4 secs Swelling Significantly swollen Pain Presence of moderate to severe pain Sensation Numbness, tingling, pins and needles any abnormal change to sensation Movement Little or none (Mosby Physical Examination 2003)
