  4. Best Practices • Save in multiple formats (HTML is key) • Store originals as raw data • Keep a sourcing log • Save iterations • Include YYMMDDv in time-sensitive data • Keep file names < 31 characters (w/ext) • Use organized nested folder structure • Confirm your downloads immediately

  5. What are the obstacles? • PDFs, potentially • Graphics • Frames • Incomplete data sets • Compressed files
