summary The story is about someone skillful use of historical detail and the sense of immediacy and she creates blood on the river . Samuels voice enters your head with the first line and pulls you along at breakneck speed without a pause to the very end . This is the way to learn history by loving characters and facing what they face .
setting The setting in most of the story was on the river and on boats. It had trees and leaves everywhere . it also had boats everywhere, and there where lots and lots of houses. Another setting was in a town, james town 1607. There where trees, grass, big buildings, houses, boats, and more.
Story climax A problem/climax is Samuel voice enters your head without a stop to the very end. They know what to do and how to get out safely. They got on a boat in the river and he can’t find them and at the end of the book they’re free.
Why I reccomend I like this book because it is a mystery and it is most definetly interesting and I definitely recommend that other kids that’s interested should read it!! Check it out at a library, school or any place else you will most definetly enjoy it.
Main character The main character is the narrarator captain John Smiths Young. He tells the story mainly. Another important person is Carbone, if you read the book you will see Carbone name a lot.
